Please come to enjoy seasonal soups, stews, chilies and other slow cooker goodies along with an update on GALE Fund activities and progress from some of this year's Grantees. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.If you'd like to bring a slow cooker dish, the more the merrier, but we would appreciate it if you would coordinate with this event's chairperson, Amy Mesirow (mesirow@comcast.net) so that we have an appropriate number of tables, etc.
If you prefer to bring bread, dessert or wine, that will be welcome too.
No charge for admission, but donations will be welcome. Attendees will vote on their favorite food items, and the most popular chefs will be awarded spectacular Rainbow Ladles of Achievement.
The mission of the GALE Fund is to provide funding and support for initiatives that address the unmet needs of lesbians, gay men, bisexual people and the transgender community of Cape Cod. Our purpose is quite simple - to raise money and distribute funds to grassroots programs and established organizations whose efforts will help make life richer, safer and more diverse for all residents of Cape Cod and the Islands.
