Supporting the LGBT Community
Giving
The GALE Fund raises money in a variety of ways.

•    We ask that individuals and families become members and pay modest dues to support our funding efforts and the costs of mailings and minor printing expenses.
•    We solicit donations from all members and other individuals once a year through our Annual Fund Campaign.  Gifts may be given anonymously, in honor of a friend or family member, or to support a particular activity or initiative (eg. The endowment, youth services, etc.). Gifts are tax decuctable.
•    We encourage individuals to include the GALE Fund in their estate plans. It is possible to give capital to the Fund and to retain the interest generated by that capital during the donor’s life.  Gifts can be designed to reduce estate taxes to other heirs. To learn more about this opportunity, please contact the Cape Cod Foundation
•    Our major fund-raising event each year is the Spring Fling benefit auction. Ticket prices cover the cost of the event as well as monies to support the grant-making program.
•    At the Spring Fling, we solicit donations of goods and services for auction to the highest bidder.  These monies support the grant-making program and may also be used to support special initiatives which could not otherwise be covered in our annual grant budget.  We also seek corporate sponsors to underwrite the costs of the event so that more of the ticket price may be applied to grant-making or the endowment.
•    To donate, please send your contribution to the GALE Fund in care of the Cape Cod Foundation, or contact the Foundation President, Elizabeth Gawron, or Program Officer Lisa McNeill at the Cape Cod Foundation to discuss estate planning or gifts of stocks, bonds or other financial instruments.
